Fall 2012: The Magic of Colour
"By playing to consumers' practical side with versatile neutrals, and boosting their confidence with bold, spirited hues, this skillfully balanced pallete has something for everyone. - Letrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone Color Institue

Pantone really got it right introducing these 10 fabulous colours. Usually in fall bright colours get retried as we introduce deeper more neutral tones but not this fall! Colour is still everywhere in stores. From French Toast to Rose Smoke all 10 colours are BEAUTIFUL not only for clothing but I'd love to see some of these colours played up in accessories for our homes as well. I love all of them and will be incorporating them into my wardrobe and home this fall - My favourites are Honey Gold, Rhapsody and French Toast.

OCTOBER IS NATIONAL COOKIE MONTH:)

Photobucket

I learned an interesting thing about October not only is it breast cancer awareness month but on a lighter note it's also national cookie month!!! I never knew this existed but i'm happy to celebrate this yummy month. Take advantage of this month to try different types of cookies I know I will be!

What Is This Holiday For?
This holiday is for honoring and enjoying the sweet flavor of cookies and sharing them with friends and family. Let this holiday bring new fond memories of days to come. Let today be the day you learn to bake new cookie recipes and learn to decorate a cookie in a new way. Let today be the day you buy a new cookie cutter and enjoy using it by baking homemade cookies for your family. Let today be the day you sit down with a tall cold glass of milk or hot coffee, a large plate of fresh cookies, and have no guilt at eating them all up. - Link

My cookie choice for this month is the 'Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie' It is extra chocolaty, my two favourite cookies in one and a delicious way to celebrate the month with a bang. Make this at home for your children or if you have a sweet tooth. Make cookie month a time to bring you and your family together. Message me on our facebook page and let me know what you all think of it!!
